Id like to explain a problem that we faced by booking a car through your website.
We chose to book a car through Swiss and chose a car from Hertz. Initially we made the reservation on the name of my sister, since she was going to be the driver.
But for personal reasons we needed to change it because I had to drive. On the day of our reservation a couple of hours before arriving to Sardinia we asked through the website from cartrawler to change the drivers name. And they said that they where going to take care of it. I gave all the details on the Supportchat, explained that we should change it and that our reservation was planed for the night and then I lost connection and I could not connect again because of a problem of the website.
We arrived in Olbia and after arriving in Hertz supportdesk, the drivers name wasnt changed and the Hertz agent couldnt make any changes on our reservation because it was booked on your website. I connected to the agent from cartrawler and they refused to find an alternative or help us with the problem, claiming that I didnt confirm my request before posting connection, while ok the support chat the agent had already admitted the emergency and that he is trying to fix it.
We are completely disappointed with your service as we lost 600 , we had to stay until midnight trying to find an alternative with the agents from both sides and finally we had to book a new car from Herzt and drive in the middle of the night for 2,5 hours after all this inconvenience in order to reach our destination. We demand a full refund or at least a partial refund or even a voucher with the amount of the money for a future booking.

Hello, I am requesting monetary compensation for the $80 I had to pay because I missed my train at the Barcelona Sants station on 13 July. I was told when I rented the van that I needed to return it at the back entrance to the parking garage.
After driving around in circles, navigating around 1 way streets for quite awhile, I discovered that I could enter the parking garage at the front of the building. I sent the office where I rented the van a recommendation to provide a small map with directions to the parking garage so people won't miss their train. I didn't get a response. I appreciate your consideration for compensating me at least some portion of my train fare for the inconvenience.
I had plenty of time to make my original train, if I hadn't received bad information from the staff.

It has been more than 6 weeks since I complained to CarTrawler. They claim to respond within 20 days. It actually took 30 days for them to respond.They still refuse to reimburse me, although I have proof that the reservation made (and paid) was never actually...
CarTrawler partners with most car rental companies and displays the full range of rentals offered by these companies. They also take your money before taking possession of the car at the rental agency desk.
And here is the problem: if CarTrawler, for some unknown reason, isn't able to confirm the rental, as it happened to me, you are have no car available, and CarTrawler KEEPS THE MONEY !
It has been more than a week than I have been asking for a refund, they have a number of excuses for not reimbursing.
COCLUSION: DO NOT EVER RENT THROUGH CAR`TRAWLER !
